We may also collect basic technical information such as device type, app version, browser type, IP address, usage activity, crash logs, and approximate interaction data to keep Himigo reliable and easy to use.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage bookings, recommend relevant travel packages, respond to enquiries, provide customer support, improve app and website performance, prevent misuse, send important trip updates, and personalize your Himigo experience.

4. Booking and Travel Data

When you enquire, request a custom trip, save a package, or book a travel experience, we may process travel dates, destination choices, number of travelers, package preferences, hotel or transport preferences, special requirements, booking status, and communication history.

5. Payment Information

Payments may be processed through trusted third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay. Himigo may receive payment confirmation, transaction status, order ID, invoice details, or refund status where required for booking support.

Himigo does not store sensitive payment credentials such as card PIN, UPI PIN, CVV, banking passwords, or full card authentication details.

6. Location Permission

If you enable location permission in the Himigo app, we may use location data to suggest nearby experiences, improve destination discovery, support trip-related features, or enhance safety and assistance during travel. You can disable location access from your device settings at any time.

7. Third-Party Services

Himigo may use third-party services for payments, analytics, authentication, hosting, maps, notifications, booking support, customer communication, and app performance monitoring. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

8. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary booking or trip information with hotels, transport partners, guides, destination operators, payment gateways, technology providers, and support partners only when needed to deliver Himigo services, complete a booking, comply with law, or protect users and our platform.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect user information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration. No digital system is completely risk-free, but we work to keep Himigo secure and trustworthy.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, manage bookings, resolve disputes, support accounting and legal obligations, improve our platform, and maintain user safety. When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

11. User Rights

You may request access, correction, update, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal, booking, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements. You may also withdraw optional permissions such as location access from your device settings.

12. Children's Privacy

Himigo is intended for users who can make travel enquiries or bookings responsibly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, please contact us.

Himigo.in may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand traffic, improve performance, measure campaigns, and make travel discovery smoother. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

With your consent or where permitted, Himigo may send offers, package updates, destination ideas, travel reminders, or promotional messages through email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, or similar channels. You can opt out of promotional communication, though important booking or service messages may still be sent.

We may process or disclose information when required to comply with applicable laws, lawful requests, tax or accounting duties, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, platform safety, or enforcement of Himigo terms and policies.
